The Coordinator of Facility Cleaning and Maintenance will be responsible for coordinating the cleaning and housekeeping of Wrigley Field and the surrounding campus grounds. The role will support all cleaning shifts of both Cubs personnel and third party labor to ensure our facilities meet established cleanliness standards while maintaining a high level of fan-facing service delivery.

• Assist in the execution of all facilities cleaning and maintenance for both game and non-game events held at Wrigley Field and the Cubs campus
• Assist in recruitment, hiring, training, and managing staff to support the staffing model and successful completion of goals
• Assist in monitoring cleanliness standards for the facility with the end goal of being one of the cleanest facilities in professional sports
• Coordinate standard operating procedures and cleaning schedules to achieve cleanliness standards
• Assist in the development of a staffing model that enables the execution of the standard operating and cleaning procedures
• Assist in the development of standard audit procedures to evaluate cleaning operation and identify opportunities for improvement
• Stay current on new approaches to cleaning assets (both equipment and supplies) and incorporate into the standard operating procedures where necessary
• Assist in the development of a 10-year capital plan for the maintenance and replacement of cleaning-related equipment

• 2-year degree from an accredited college/university or at least three (3) years of demonstrated experience in facility operations
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel
• Excellent communication and administrative skills
• Attention to detail including excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to stand and/or sit for long periods of time, pushing /pulling/carrying lifting may include up to 25lbs (event evacuation), stair climbing, sit, twist, turn, bend as required to perform duties within the facility
• Ability to work flexible hours to include evenings, weekends and holidays as needed

• Previous arena or stadium experience
• Experience managing professional sports building maintenance and/or facility operations, preferably Major League Baseball
